No Swipe Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 6, 2026

No Swipe is a Chrome extension that reduces access to short-form video feeds on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Information processed

No Swipe processes the following information only to provide its stated functionality:

Storage and retention

Preferences are stored using the Chrome Storage Sync API. Chrome may synchronize these preferences between browsers where the user is signed in and Chrome Sync is enabled. The developer does not operate a server that receives or stores these preferences.

Page addresses and page content are processed locally in the browser and are not retained by No Swipe.

Data collection and sharing

No Swipe does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, browsing history, page content, analytics, or advertising data with the developer or third parties. It does not use remote code and does not contain advertising or tracking technologies.

Permissions

No Swipe uses access to YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok only to hide short-form video interface elements and redirect or block short-form video pages. The storage permission saves extension preferences. The declarativeNetRequest permission performs the disclosed redirects and blocking locally in Chrome.

User choices

Users can enable or disable each filter from the extension popup. Users can remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling No Swipe. Synced preferences can also be managed through Chrome Sync settings.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

If No Swipe's data practices change, this policy and the extension's Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the changed practices take effect.
